News of still more hot and steamy “sale-on-sale” action has lured me away from video games and onto the internet — a very rare occurrence. So, you know it’s gotta be good.

Everything in the Rachel Rachel Roy sale section is now an additional 30% off. Plus, there’s free shipping on orders of $75 or more. Sweet.

Behind the cut, a few items I would love to pick up for myself.

On the left, a ribbed v-neck pullover in heather deep teal. The sweater is available in four colors and in sizes ranging from XS to XL. Originally priced at $59, it’s on sale for $34.50, but the extra 30% off brings it down to $24.78. On the right, the Truvy dress in sapphire. Available in sizes XS to XL, it retailed at $119, but with all that math mixed in, it’s now only $49.98.

Scarves! I kinda love scarves. To me, scarves hold a position of value and utility similar to that of towels in the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. In addition to the obvious, there are a multitude of uses for a scarf. You could use it to wrap a present, or fold and knot it into a makeshift bag. [See: furoshiki] You could wear it as a cape or use it to ward off and/or attract animals and/or attention, depending upon your circumstances and/or predilections. With the simple addition of a stick, you could make yourself a very fine hobo bindle. Honestly, take a moment to imagine the possibilities. There are at least 7 of them.

All I’m trying to say here is that scarves are rad and that everyone should wear them at all times, if only in the interest of self-preservation. The scarves above will do the trick just as well as any others, but they are also very pretty. On the left is the Two-tone Self-fringe Scarf, available in 4 colors. Originally priced at $28, it was on sale for $14 and, with the additional 30%, is currently just $9.80. On the right is the Aztec Wrap. Available in three colors, it retailed for $34, was marked down to $17 and will run you $11.90 with the additional discount.

Enjoy some shopping, why don’t you!
